Picture Book Homestead Press will lead families to have experiences of faith, wonder, and connection. We aim to transform our readers’ lives to feel rich and joyful because after they close our books they will be able to look up and truly see the blessings all around them.

Faith:

We create religious and secular books that are layered with heart and meaning and serve the youngest to the oldest in the family.

Wonder:

Our books are valuable tools for parents who desire to cultivate the minds and hearts of their children and learn together with them to see the world with new eyes.

Connection:

We believe in the impact of picture books as they create a shared experience between parents and children. A bridge that can create connection. Picture Book Homestead is committed to strengthening that bridge through delightful books you’ll love reading over and over with your child.

I’m Anna. mama to 5 + Author/illustrator + Entrepreneur

I love reading aloud, I love my children’s giggles, and I love swishing my brush in water while I paint watercolor. 

I’ve been writing and mothering for 12 years, so my children are very much part of my creative process. The act of reading and being part of their world, listening to them and loving them, all lead to sparks in my brain that grow into the manuscripts. I would not be the creator I am without them.

Welcome to our homestead!

If you were visiting me in real life I would invite you to come sit on our porch. Kids would zip by on their bikes as they race down the hill. Ducks would greet you and watch you expectantly. A goat or two may dash by to the apple tree or they might try to snack on your shirt first. I’d smile at all the crazy and then we would dive into talking about books and the joys of raising children.
